Vanilla Chai French Toast

Try this twist on traditional french toast using Bolthouse Farms® Vanilla Chai Tea. This brewed blend of green tea, chai spices, and vanilla is sure to leave your taste buds wanting more.


  1. Place cookies and crackers into the bowl of a food processor and pulse until a fine and mealy texture is produced. Pour mixture onto a shallow dish.
  2. In another shallow dish whisk together the Bolthouse Farms® Vanilla Chai Tea, eggs and brown sugar.
  3. Dip each slice of bread in the egg mixture until fully soaked. Then dredge each slice of bread into the cookie-cracker mixture until each slice is fully coated.
  4. Melt 3 tablespoons of butter into a skillet, over medium heat. Once the butter has melted and the skillet is hot, add two slices of coated bread to the skillet and fry on each side for 3 to 4 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Transfer French toast onto serving plates and repeat with remaining butter and coated bread. 6. Serve French toast with fresh fruit and a drizzle of honey or maple syrup.

  • 40 butter crackers
  • 1 cup Bolthouse Farms® Vanilla Chai Tea
